Kory looked over the Slytherins with a searching gaze, trying to detect if Xanthos was telling the truth. In the end she simply relented. Even if he was lying, it couldn't be that important. Kory turned to Dixie and seemed to be able to tell that she was feeling guilty. She looked at her, face expressionless except that her eyes were soft. She was trying to tell her it was okay, but didn't know if she would get the message.

Kory turned back to the others, concealing any expression once more. "Hogsmeade, hmm? I suggest you go to the shrieking shack," She said, facing Xanthos. Maybe some ghost will rip you to shreds She thought to herself. Not sure why she was so against him for some reason, she blinked a few times trying to clear her thoughts. Maybe she should try to be friends with him. Somehow. She should at least be able to tolerate everyone in this school. She was the headmistress after all.
