Corbin sat at the table in the back of the library. It was his spot, and it was well remembered by most of the students at school, and even some of the professors. He had a spell book open in front of him, he slipped through the pages trying to find the spell he had seen not too long ago, but had forgotten.
A hand ran through his hair in frustration as he slammed the book shut picking up a new one. He was far from calm and was anxious to be done with his research. His hands fell silent when he heard someone drawing nearer. He growled slightly under his breath knowing that someone was going to interupt him.

Dixie was looking at a few books when she heard somebody getting a bit frustrated. Right away and sma;l smirk played along her lips. Grabbing a random book that was about werewolf she neared the table.
Knowing very well who was there she didn't care less. She had heard many things about that table and the person who was sitting there but yet wasn't scared. Setting her book down on the table she said ," Hope you don't mind me interrupting and if you do. Oh well. I couldn't help but over hear how frustrated you were. Ever hear of anger management problems?"

Looking up he saw another Slytherin student. Even though she happened to be from the same house, that didn't stop him from having the dislike glare from his eyes.
"I've laredy gone," he sayed leaning back in his chair, "they told me to use a specific hex when something ticks me off," he leaned across the table, "Would you like me to show you?" he asked a malicious smile on his lips.

Leaning up so she could straighten herself she crossed her arms and said ," You would actually do that to such a sweet girl like me?" Pulling out a chair her green eyes never left his when she said ," Already went? Hmm .. interesitng. I was suppose to . But I ditched the classes anyway."

His mouth twitched slightly, she was quick, and he liked that in a Slytherin. He slowly closed the book that was sitting infront of him.
"Sweet?" his eyebrows rose, "That's too bad, I thought you had potential," he leaned back again. "It's hard to skip when they tie you down and take away your wand," he said without cracking a smile.

Shrugging her shoulders she said ," Do you want sympathy from me? Because I won't give it to you. That's to bad they took your wand away and tied you down though. And I thought you could be a strong person."
Giving him a look of disgust she said ," No introductions. Well why don't I start. I'm Dixie and you are?"

"It's rather pathetic how naive and gullible you are," he stated blandly, "you're not going to last very long.
"I don't particularly care who you are either," he remarked when she introduced herself.

" Well .. long for what? And you should. Consider how my younger sister and your close friend are more than friends ," Dixie snapped at him. Smirking she rolled her eyes and looked away for a moment. She loved using Pandora just to get back at people. Turning back to Corbin she just waited to see what he would say.

His facial expression did not change in a way that was expected, instead it twisted into a smile, "Then consider Vixen, who I am, who my close friend is and what we're both capable of." He laughed quietly flipping through curses in his mind trying to choose one for her.
"Would you like me to try that spell now?" he asled conversationaly.

Giving him a quick glare she said ," You know. What both of you are capable of doesn't scare me. You both might have enough power to hurt me , but still doesn't scare little me off." Leaning back in her chair she said ," You act as if I can't stick up for myself."
Shaking her head she said ," And like I said before. Would you want to hurt a girl like me so badly?" Quickly something clicked in her mind but yet she didn't say it , just not yet.

"Now that's just hypocrytical," he mused, he decided to play her game, and continue the irrational flirtaious conversation, "first you can stick up for yourself, and next you a poor little girl?" he laughed again, "I don't buy either of those."

" Yes I am a poor little girl at times. And yes I can stick up for myself," Dixie said. leaning over the table she said ," If you test me well enough I might just have to show you."
Her apple green eyes turning to a slight red she smiled as she leaned back into her chair. Crossing her arms and legs she looked over at some kid that was staring at the two. Giving him a quick glare he quickly ran off. Still keeping her gaze away from Corbin.

He smiled listening to her, he leaned on the table just as she had done. As he watched her scare off the smaller student his smile broadened. He was starting to like this girl more and more.
Instead of responding he went back to his book, deciding that he would allow her to stay at the table if it meant so much to her.

Dixie was about to get up and go to another table but when she stood up something stopped her. All the other tables were taking by either Gryffindorks , Ravies , or Huffies. Sitting back down she mumbled ," Just what I need. To sit here some more."
Grabbing her book she opened it up quickly skiming threw the first page. Of coarse it told her the information she already knew about Werewolves.

Hearing her mumbling corbin looked over the edge of his book. However intriguing she seemed, she was annoying none the less.
He knew the book in his hands did not hold the spell he needed, and didn't feel inclined to look back at it, instead he merely continued to watch Vixen.
