Corbin took his seat not too far from the end of the table. None of the food infront of him looked very apetizing, and he wasn't hungry to begin with. None the less he started to put a few things on his plate.
For Dinner time the Great Hall seemed rather empty, and looking around he realized hardly anyone was there. Unpreturbed he merely turned back to his food, adn poured himself a glass of juice. Scowling at it, he quickly pulled out his wand and added a little alcohol into it.
When he felt a finger tap on his back he sighed and turned around, "can I help you?" he asked as he turned.

Dixie had finally come back to school. And she wasn't happy about it either. Crossing her arms as she entered the Great Hall she sighed. Looking over at the Slytherin table she saw some firsties sitting there. Rolling her eyes at them she looked closer to the end of the table where she usually sat.
Shaking her head at who she was sitting there she walked over. Then tapping him on the shoulder just to get him annoyed she smirked as she saw his reaction. She loved getting on his nerves. Just shrugging she said ," Who said you could have the permission to sit up here? Haven't you noticed that only the respected people sit here."
Looking down at the first years that were looking at them she pointed to them and whispered into his ear ," You belong down there." Standing up straight she couldn't help but laugh. Rolling her eyes she walked so she was a couple seats away from Corbin. Waiting for her sister to come she just had to talk to her. And if all the Slytherin's arrived , she knew there would be a bit of trouble ahead for all of them.

Trying his best not to let his anger rise. He had promised Xanthos that he'd work on that, so he chose to only rise his eyebrows.
A smile crossed his face when she walked away. "You see," he said pushing his plate away from him and facing her, "If you wanted me to take you seriously, you might have sat next to me to make your point clear."
Turning back to the table his smile grew malicious, "now you just give me more reason to have fun the next time I see you in the house."

Rolling her eyes as she crossed her arms in front of her she quickly looked around the great hall again. Basically nobody was there. Sighing as she looked back at Corbin she said ," First off. I would never sit next to you. And second off do enjoy annoying me?"
Turning her head so she was looking back down at the table her smirk never disappeared. Looking quickly back at him she said ," You know what's weird. How comes it's usually only me and you in the most public places in school?"

"It's funny that you comment on how I annoy you," he said the malace leaving his face, "when it was you, who bothered me for no apparent reason, when you hadn't even intended on sitting next to me."
He went back to his plate just as she had, but when she spoke again he rolled his eyes to look back at her. She didn't want to sit with him, but she still wanted to socialize.
"Makes things more interesting, don't you think?" he smirked with one of his eyebrows raised.

Looking back at him she said ," Do you really want me to sit by you that bad?" Of coarse she was only teasing him. " No. It doesn't make things more interesting."
Looking over to one of the doors she muttered ," Where is she." Smiling she said ," Oh hey Corbin. Your favorite person is coming soon. And just to let ya know. I know why you don't like her. Not many people like Pandabear only because she proves them all wrong."

Corbin merely shook his head. She was such a stupid girl. She took everything he said literally, and was much too focused onherself to actually know what others thought.
"You are mistaken," Corbin said blandly, "I never expected anything less of you sister," he stared at her from across the table, "do not pretend you know the reasons for my behaviour."

" Did I ever say I know how you act? Thought not. I just have something on my mind , and what is on my mind is leading me to believe that you like Pan ," Dixie snapped. She really needed Pan at the moment. And if she didn't come then sooner or later she would just probably get to pissed off with Corbin.
She knew he probably thought nothing of her. She was probably just another stupid Slytherin girl trying to prove herself. But there was more to her than that. She was falling for him. And she was hiding it .

Corbin burts into a harsh laughter, "That's the stupidest thing I've heard come out of your mouth, and that's something considering half the bull that spews from it."
He wiped a tear from his eyes, the absurdity of him liking Pandora was killing him.

Her eyes flashed a red color. Taping her nails on the table she said ," You are so gulable. I know you don't like Pan and seriously she doesn't like you either. But maybe you two have to notice something."
Standing up she continued ," Your best friend , and her companian at the moment. Do you think he would like you two bickering. Exspecially from you. Just get over it."

He didn't care that she hadn't been serious, the idea of him liking Pandora was still beyond ridiculous.
Though he should have gotten mad at her he somehow couldn't. "I think it's best you stop talking about things that dont' concern you before you get punished for it properly," he said seriously, warning her no longer as a superior but as a friend, "and the punishment may not be so sensitive if it isn't coming from me."

"Can I not just give you a little advice Corbin?" Dixie asked. It wasn't like she cared about punishment. Actually she didn't care about anything right now except avoiding the new sister at the school. Smirking at the thought , the smirk quickly left.
Running her hand through her hair she said ," Suddenly it actually seems like we are more like friends. That won't last that long. So why don't we stop putting on an act now?"

He raised his eyebrows at her request, "I had not intended to act, as I rarely hide from a person when I like or dislike them," Corbin stated matter of factly, "I may not tell others, but I will tell that perso directly."
He went back to his bowl, if she did not wish to continue talking to him and potentially having a friend who could help her, he would do as she wished and not waste his time. He was surprised in himself for ever having suggested they be friends considering how deep her stupidity seemed to run.

Dixie had to give it to him that he was a smart one. But she wouldn't let that seem like it. She wanted to leave and not talk to him at all , maybe even ever again. But then why would some silly little girl such as Dixie want to not talk to him.
Sitting back down , she stared down at the table. What was she suppose to say now. She didn't want to open up her mouth because then she would be getting on his nerves. And then she wasn't even hungry. Drawing circles on the table she sighed.

Smiling slightly hearing her defeated sigh he poured himself another drink though he wasn't thirsty. Pouring a little more alcohol into it he attached a note to the class and levtitating it to Dixie it landed perfectly in the cirles she was drawing. Without watching he waited for her to read it will help the waiting
