Hogwarts Danger

Some things last forever
it is often said, but lives are not.
We must spare people the ordeal
of mutaltions, war and death....
We must spare them, for they say war
is the price of peace.
We have paid too much.
Let us live a better life.
Let us sing an ode to peace....
And not to the danger that lurks everywhere.

It is the year 2007, eight years since the great Dumbledore fell at the hands of Serveus Snape. And as most predicted - everything, has changed....

Hogwarts was closed down in favor of the students¡¯ safety. Most of the students got sent to Durmstrang and Beauxbatons along with several other little schools scattered across Europe. The war, was only taking place in the United Kingdom... but not for long... it started to spread into every corner of the world. Harry Potter, took matters into his own hands after the order started falling apart. Dumbledore was their bonds, without him, they were nothing. As many were killed and others kidnapped, Harry, decided to take charge, his 'leadership' qualities running through him. He, at the young age of eighteen, decided to become what the order was missing, a leader. As everything started to get back to normal almost, he, with his two best friends - Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley then started to go collect the remaining horcruxes. Ginny, Neville and Luna also never left his side. As Harry was scouring England, Lord Voldemort started to gather followers, by huge numbers, in secret. By either force or by willingness, it'll never be known. And without the security of a leader, the death eaters started to attack. Everything started to fade out. Public buildings became dangerous to be in. Hogsmeade, closed down and became a ghost town. Thankfully, everyone was escorted out of there before the death eaters came and destroyed almost the entire town. They only left a few buildings standing up, though, they too were burned around the edges. Diagon Alley, was locked up completely. The Ministry, still involved with the war, demanded it. The people who worked there had to be carefully monitored by a ministry officer and people wishing to enter must take veritserum to prove themselves completely safe. Guards, are stationed almost everywhere an especially at Gringotts. Everyone lived under a cloud of fear. No one knew if they or someone they know will be dead the next day. Deaths ranked up and the Ministry, though under constant attack, tried to sort everything out.

August 19^th, 2006. Everyone had been expecting this moment to come, though... not quite so soon. Harry Potter, had located all the horcruxes. Apart from the few Voldemort kept close to him. Actually, Harry hadn't even expected to have the destined war yet. he sort of stumbled upon it by accident. many thought Riddle house had been abandoned in favor of more 'hidden' locations for the death eaters headquarters. So taking a few order members, Harry went to go see if there'll be any horcruxes left there. Perhaps by accident. He was really wrong. He stepped in on an entire death eater meeting.... All of whom hated him and wanted him dead. A quick seconds before the fight broke out, Harry managed to signal most of the order members with a patronus. They had all come... and the blood war, began. As curses were uttered all around, people fell dead. Each a sacrifice each side was willing to make. Friends murdered friends, family murdered family.... war makes you lose all sense of common sense. That was when it happened.... Harry had witnessed his best friend Ronald Weasley die by the hands of Lord Voldemort himself. Flared up by the fact that the person whom had always been there for him was dead, Harry sprinted to find Lord Voldemort. A cold chuckle forced Harry to turn around in the middle of the 'battle' field. Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, the two greatest wizards of the century, were going to fight till the end. They circled each other slowly and quietly. Not aware of anyone but the other. Harry made the first move, but Lord Voldemort blocked it easily and sent the same curse back at Harry. Red and green, Slytherin and Gryffindor, sparks flew at each other. Either of them willing to go down. They fought for hours on end, refusing to give up. But then... at the strike of midnight, Harry Potter fell dead, along with all the rest.... The prophecy had come true and Lord Voldemort had killed Harry Potter. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked on, seeing the flicked in his eyes die out forever.

The remaining order members were rounded up and then shipped to Azkaban. The inmates there released. It became a prison for anyone caught treasoning with the Dark Lord. And of course, the dementors, started working there again. Almost everyone became a death eater, all petrified with the fear of what the Dark Lord would do to them if they didn't. It seemed for a while that the war had ended --- evil reigning. Yet of course, a small group of resisters have started to cause trouble for the death eaters.... whom were already frustrated over the fact that Diagon Alley and the Ministry, which locked up from them, wasn't in their grasps. Ginny Weasley, the fiery red head, has never been the same again after Harry and Ron's deaths. She narrowly escaped the war with a few bruises and cuts. Rather depressed for her brother and the love of her life was dead, it wasn't as if she had anyone to talk to. Hermione was in Azkaban for the rest of her life being caught 'treasoning' with the dark lord by being a muggle born and had been friends with potter. Luna was always there, but it wasn't the same. Ginny, was only twenty-three years old and though didn't know it, with Harry's child. A child robbed of a chance to know her dad. Fairly ticked off at the death eaters, Ginny stepped into Harry's shoes and is trying (and succeeding) in running the order. She's trying to recruit more members for the small group or order members left. In many homes, parents are trying and un-succeeding to get their children to get the dark mark. Therefore, making them 'safe' from danger. The few that rebel often run away and join the order. Others, become neutral citizens, trying to live a normal life like there isn't a war going on.

Surprising, the ministry has decided to re-open the great school. for all of them thought it would be better to teach their own children skills than to let them suffer by the teachings of the Dark Lord. In secret, the Ministry sent letters out to all parents with a child of ten to eighteen. Hoping that soon, the school would flourish and that they'll have another generation of clear minded citizens who didn't care for dark arts. Of course some parents objected immeditley, knowing fully well that it was dangerous ground and practically treason. But a small population of children were sent to Hogwarts to learn the art, of magic. A trio of students taken from the Dark Lord himself, knowing many dark art secrets, have been sent to Hogwarts. Their parents thought it would make them more safe if they spied for the Dark Lord there. But one of them is seeing his ways of wrong and is trying to back out..... being pressued does you no good. But of course, they hide everything and become the new 'rules' of Hogwarts. Everything has changed and it's still changing......

Every corner, leads to a new twist. Every pathway to a new journey. Danger, lurks everywhere. Go beyond what's written and cross that imaginary line between what's real and what's fantasy. Everything has changed, but will you? Once you flip to a new page and turn to the next chapter. but remember, the darkness looms under everything, and it's ready to leep out at you. To control you. One thing is known for certain, Hogwarts is in Danger....
